  While members of the Oceanside URC my wife and I, benefited from the education of the pastors, through their preaching and teaching. We loved the historic custom of worship, and enjoyed the fellowship of a great group of like-minded believers. It was a comfort to be reminded of the good news every week, and worship God there.

  After the first service we attended, I knew this was the place for my family and I. Worship is serious, reverent and joyful, being structured by Scripture rather than gimmicks. Children are catechized and learn the deep truths of the Christian faith at even a very early age. The people genuinely express love for one another and are shepherded by the pastors and elders here who actually know and visit them in their houses every year.
  
  In short, if you are in the area and looking to join a confessional church that preaches the pure gospel week in and week out, I cannot more heartily encourage you to come and check us out.

  My wife and I visited OURC while in California visiting our children. We were warmly greeted and thoroughly enjoyed the confessional emphasis and Biblical teaching in the evening service. A Christ centered group of believers for sure.
