  • My experience is a spiritual journey and is one that Mark Foreman help pilot. I have since travelled to Sardarshahar, Rajasthan, INDIA on a fellowship to volunteer my time in the establishment of an education institution called the Institute of Global Harmony. I recently got back to the United States in March 2017 and I am about return home to visit my mentor at the North Coast Calvary Chapel to share the results of my mission.

  • It's a home to wonderfully human Christians. The building is refreshing as a building should be and the church is more about the imperfect people that habitat its grounds and they're good, but far from perfect like all.

  • All glory to God. God's message through Ryan Pfeiffer this morning was powerful ! As we draw nearer to God he draws nearer to us. Amen

  • Progressive community that welcomes everyone. The messages are most often for people who have gone to church their whole lives and need to relearn what it means to be a Christian and show love.

Amazing kids programs, interactive seminars for marriage and parenting. Visual and performing art exhibitions for artists... Just a cool place to be.

Had issue awhile back with family. A man harassed my mom and little brother in horrible ways, police came and took the worker away, he worked as one of the heads of maintenance at the time (name starts with an F and last name begins with a T). He stalked our family and told horrible lies, when he went to court the church was their to support him. All the evidence against the man was given, but they still supported him. He was to do three months in jail but one of the church leaders bailed him out so he could do a Calvary Chapel rehab (I believe Bill helped get him out). He eventually turned on them (from what I heard) and is still wanted by the police because he never served his sentence by showing up to his parol, he caused issues in other places after and is wanted by police for more accounts (while continually blasting lies to those dumb enough to believe him). Background checks are not enforced (if they were people wouldn't need to believe stories, documented law does not lie when you have so many things stacked up against you). I felt bad posting this in the past, but hearing that someone else was a victim to a worker, it saddens me. The pastor was told numerous times about the problem and refused to meet with any of us. In fact when my mom was fired from helping (my mom was a former youth pastor in San Bernardino) and we tried telling the leaders what happened, we were told they would call the police on us. Their is no discernment whatsoever in this modern celebrity style church. She had gone to this church for many years prior while even formerly working at Daybreak. This is wrong on many accounts, and even though my mom and brother have forgiven them and moved on, the truth needs to be told, or these issues will continue to fester. With one of the ministers sexually harassing the kids, this was not the first time something bad has happened with staff. This is not the first time police have been to the church to take someone away in leadership. Just remember they defended the bad guy and turned on my mom who was the genuine victim because she cried out for help. Several of my moms friends no longer attend the church because of the absolute wile behavior from the staff. When your a big church you can easily cover up things like this. Of course people would be encouraged to think I am making this up but the whole case is well documented and can be researched if you knew who I was talking about.
