  CCC is a place where all generations gather to worship and walk together. A place of love and grace. Personal relationships are found here - you won't be lost in the shuffle. You will see Jesus love in action!

  I have attended several churches during my Christian life; I becam a Christian at age 33. It was at this time I also got married to a wonderful Christian woman. I am very careful concerning my faith! I listen very carefully to what is said and how it is said. I also observe the people of the church and how outgoing friendly they are. I listen to be sure the church members are not legalistic and judgemental in a condesending manner or message. I find in this church a friendly group of people who strive to do the right thing by keeping the holy spirit of Jesus as "the lamp onto their feet and a light onto their path." Pastor Helms is right on with the word of scripture as he often reminds us of our nature and how we must keep Jesus on the throne of our hearts. The pastor makes it clear that we must strive to be "beautiful" to God and others on the inside which manifests in kindness and forgiveness!! And all this time I have tried so very hard to maintain my beautiful exterior. :-) Well. as for that, Emily Dickenson, the poet, once wrote God's exterior glow is an outward sign of an inward grace. Oh yes, Pastor Helms, repeatedly instructs that we do not and cannot earn our salvation through works. We get the gift ONLY by acknowledgeing Jesus as our savior and our only bridge to our heavenly father. What a father he is; perfect and consistent with his promises.

  I was raised in this church, and my parents still attend there and are very involved in it.
  
  This is a WONDERFUL church. Their pastors have been consistently excellent over the years (I'm in my sixties).
  
  There have been a few times in the past where some folks decided that they didn't like how things were going and they engaged in pretty awful name calling and anonymous criticism. There are other reviews here on Google that state that there have been "cultish" activities at this church. I have to say, I wonder what church those reviewers were talking about, because this church has always featured rock-solid, conservative, bible-based teaching and activities.
  
  Every church has a "personality" and it may take time to find one that is a good fit for your own personality. If you're looking for a church, this is definitely a great one to consider.

  CCC is unique and distinct - a wonderful, Christ-centered, loving family of believers. The teaching is excellent, both expository and topical. The worship is incredible - a praise team for contemporary praise music and hymns - which is backed-up by a phenomenal choir and often by an orchestra! Where else can you go in North County for worship like this. The Children's Ministry is instructive, safe and secure - parents can enjoy fellowship and worship confident that their kids are well taken care of. There are many ministries to the local community as well as significant participation and support for missions overseas and in the US. There is a formal introductory and membership process that is refreshing and moving. CCC equips their members to know Jesus and to make Him known. Their members walk the talk. I've never seen such devotion to service and to serving as at CCC. It is such a joy to call CCC home!
